EABL Foundation and USAID‘s Western Kenya Water Project signed a KES 60 million partnership to enhance water service provision in Western Kenya.

Over three years, KES 20 million will be invested annually in sustainable water projects.

EABL Foundation will conduct hydrological studies and build water sources, while the Western Kenya Water Project will focus on storage, distribution, and community training.

To ensure women are actively involved in decision-making within water project management committees, the Western Kenya Water Project will support the dissemination of a gender inclusion toolkit that was developed by Diageo in collaboration with CARE International.

Eric Kiniti, EABL Foundation MD, highlighted the commitment to improving water access and living standards.
